On 24 October 2025, the Ethics Committee of the ASFaVIP convened in Kassel for a productive meeting.
The session provided an important platform to review ethical standards and ensure that all research activities within the project align with the 3Rs principles (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement) as well as with European and international guidelines.
Les principales discussions ont porté sur les points suivants :
✅ Procédures de coordination et d’approbation des essais sur les animaux
✅ Examen des essais d’innocuité et de la classification de la biosécurité
✅ Harmonisation continue des procédures éthiques entre tous les partenaires du projet
Cette réunion a renforcé l’engagement d’ASFaVIP en faveur d’une recherche vaccinale responsable, éthique et scientifiquement fondée, pierre angulaire de l’effort collectif de lutte contre la peste porcine africaine.
